Home > Eprine’s New Mental Health Clinic Opens in August!

Eprine’s opening of its new behavioral health clinic will expand mental health services in Crown Heights/Brownsville, East New York, Oceanhill and Bedford Stuyvesant.

Eprine is excited to announce that we will open one of the area’s first Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services. The Eprine Mental Wellness Clinic is designed to include clients in the design and delivery of services and provide after-hours crisis care, regardless of their
ability to pay.

In contrast to other Behavioral Health clinics, the Eprine Mental Wellness Clinic focuses on children’s
behavioral health. The Mental Wellness Clinic will provide specialized care for chronic behavioral health conditions, targeted crisis management, peer support services, and other collaborative care. Clients will be able to select from a menu of these options to customize their treatment and achieve stable behavioral health.

Exciting expansions of our services for children and families and substance use programming will also be available.

The Eprine Mental Wellness Clinic will provide traditional outpatient services, skill-building groups,
substance abuse services, crisis work, and individual, group and child therapy services. The facility will be equipped with a psychiatrist and nurse practitioner who will be able to prescribe medications if necessary. The beauty of this mental wellness clinic is that it offers an overarching continuum of care. It will be a community place of wellness where children will get the care and acceptance they deserve. We will provide assessment, stabilization, treatment, and effective connections for follow-up and ongoing community-based outpatient and peer support services to children experiencing mental health concerns. Bringing more mental health services for children and youth to the county is a collaborative effort and a major asset for our community.


The Clinic is located at 1650 Eastern Parkway, a beautiful modern building centrally located, and this well-appointed building has plenty of road access with Eastern Parkway and Rockaway Blvd close by. Situated in the populated and community-oriented neighborhood of Crown Heights/Brownsville, this location features a walk score of 93/100, is steps away from the B7 and B12 buses and has easy access to the A and C trains at Rockaway Ave station and the L train at Atlantic Ave.
