As we approach a new year, we at Eprine would like to take a moment to appreciate the holiday season and the sense of togetherness that it brings. This December, Eprine Community Services put together a toy drive to donate goods, such as toys, notebooks, and even iPads, to those in need within our communities. We partnered up with Toys for Hospitalized Children, a nonprofit dedicated to distributing gifts to pediatric hospitals across New York, and sent them over 50 donations in person. From friends and family, to neighbors and staff, Eprine reached out far and wide to ensure that we left a significant mark on giving back to those less fortunate this Christmas/Hanukkah season. We are thankful to everyone who helped us put our toy drive together. 

In addition to a toy drive, Eprine threw a holiday party for our staff to celebrate their achievements in their superb work. Sonora Restaurant, located on Howard Ave here in Brownsville, hosted and provided food, beverages, and music for everyone here at Eprine to get comfortable and enjoy one another’s company. Lynette Jones, our Talent Acquisition Specialist, says “it was a wonderful night and great to see familiar faces outside the work environment.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, as quality time spent outside the office makes for stronger bonds within them. Since we have workers at numerous different locations across the city, this turned out to be a great opportunity for staff to meet new co-workers and collaborate on future ideas together.
