It’s now been over a week since we New Yorkers experienced some of the most unsafe, polluted days in our lives. With an air quality index that briefly reached beyond 400 and a warning of emergency conditions that could affect anybody, we at Eprine would like to use this time as a reminder of the necessity for people to check on their physical health.

We saw many masks worn on the streets of Brownsville as the sky turned hazy and orange. This is a good first step to prevent inhalation of the hazardous air quality. With that, we also encourage people to get their blood-work checked and take a visit to the doctor. We hope that, if nothing else, this scary time encourages people to remember that nothing matters more than your health: mental or physical.
